Stay In with the Girls this Saturday Night

Watch this biography about THE fashion icon
Instead of ranting about those sub-par VMA's that we all dreadfully sat through this past Sunday, I invite you to join me in what I hope will be a pleasurable viewing experience this weekend. Stay in with the girls and watch a film about the incredible rise and fall of fashion icon Gabriel Bonheur Chanel or Coco Chanel as the world came to know her. Shirley MacLaine (actually a GOOD actress) plays the role, and the film debuts this Saturday at 8pm on the Lifetime network. What am I looking forward to? The costume design and all those sordid love stories of course! Make sure you check out the chronicles of this legend who's inner turmoil was never satiated by marriage and children, but who managed to revenue over $160 million a year at the time of her passing. Coco Chanel was such an interesting person and such an incredible woman that her story alone is enough to make this movie more than entertaining! So gather the girls and pop a cork, I def. think this is worth watching.

Entertaining your gals? Try this drink..its easy to mix and tastes very refreshing not to mention GOOD. I call it a TING-tini. Its made from an imported grapefruit soda from Jamaica called Ting that you can find at a Jamaican bakery or some supermarkets and grocery stores. Mix in a shaker with your favorite Vodka (mine is Stoli) to taste. Garnish the bottom of your martini glasses with a pink grapefruit slice, add sugar to the rim and serve!!!LOVE
